SAP HCM Payroll and SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll consulting

Payroll is the process that forgives an error least.

I am Facundo Corbalan, a freelance senior SAP HCM Payroll and ECP consultant. I design, implement and stabilise payrolls that have to add up every single month, for tens of thousands of people, across multiple legal entities and collective agreements that look nothing like each other.

How I can help

Seven ways to work together

ECP implementation and migration

From scope definition to go-live: PA and PY configuration, schemas and rules, PTP integration between Employee Central and ECP, Payroll Control Center and parallel runs.

Multi-country ECP architecture

Owning the architecture and the integration when payroll for several countries moves to ECP, with a local specialist for the legal side in each one.

ECP expert support / L3 on demand

Specialist escalation for AMS teams, partners and clients already running ECP: complex troubleshooting, EC–ECP integration, replication, Payroll Control Center and production escalations.

Payroll audit

Independent review of schemas, rules, wage types and cumulations. Catching deviations before they reach the payslip, with a fix plan prioritised by impact.

Payroll Control Center

Client-specific validations, per-employee alerts and close automation, so errors surface before the final calculation instead of on a payslip.

Functional lead as a service

Functional ownership of the payroll workstream without adding the role to your headcount: scope, timeline, coordination of the functional and technical team, and business stakeholder management.

Support and enhancements (AMS)

Post go-live continuity: monthly closes, legal and collective agreement changes, SAP notes, replication incidents and operational stabilisation.

Why work with me

What sets this apart from a generalist SAP profile

Payroll-first

I know the payroll process itself, not just how to configure it in SAP. Knowing what has to land on the payslip, and why, changes how a solution is designed and how it gets debugged.

ECP end-to-end

EC–ECP integration, PTP, Payroll Control Center, replication, calculation and stabilisation. The whole circuit, not one leg of it.

Functional and technical depth

I configure, debug and write functional specifications. I can work directly with the technical team and follow an issue all the way to its root cause.

Senior ownership

Able to run a full workstream and keep an eye on the whole: scope, risks and delivery, rather than a queue of tickets.

Experience

Real scale, real complexity

High-volume payrolls, implementations with more than 150 collective agreements, SAP ECC to Employee Central Payroll migrations, and rollouts across Spain, Portugal, Argentina, Mexico, Colombia and Ecuador.

Serveo · Spain

Problem. Implement Spanish payroll for a company with 9 legal entities and more than 150 collective agreements, against a fixed 6-month go-live date.

What I did. PA and PY configuration, schemas and rules, and coordination with the technical team through to go-live.

Outcome. Delivered on schedule, on one of the company's most complex rollouts in the country.

SAP HCM Payroll · PY-ES

AENA · ECC to ECP migration

Problem. Move the payroll of a public-sector organisation with 4 legal entities and its own regulatory framework onto Employee Central Payroll.

What I did. Functional scope, gap analysis against the standard, PTP integration architecture and Payroll Control Center rollout.

Outcome. Data and replication model defined and validated ahead of go-live.

SAP HCM · ECP · PTP · PCC

Tenaris · Global operation

Problem. Argentine hourly payroll unstable after go-live, with recurring incidents at every close and a team stuck in reactive mode.

What I did. Grouped incidents by root cause, prioritised by impact on the payslip, and worked through the fixes across two cycles.

Outcome. Sustained drop in monthly incidents and stabilisation closed out within 2 months.
